Case Study: Learning Materials

Crafting Engaging Corporate Learning Experiences

In collaboration with Librix, I contribute to crafting captivating corporate training modules, learning materials, and internal communication campaigns for several Fortune 500 companies. Each project presents unique challenges, as no two topics, brand standards, or corporate cultures are alike. The ability to adapt to diverse communication and learning demands is essential in delivering effective solutions.

By continuously diversifying my core strengths and exploring new communication avenues, I can skillfully translate various learning topics into engaging video modules that align with each company's brand standards. Whether it involves scenario-based scenarios, visually explained stepped processes, comprehensive workflow overviews, or animated brand characters, the visual approach is carefully tailored to meet specific communication objectives.

For instance, a recent corporate training endeavor focused on showcasing wind power innovations at Shell. This module demanded a combination of various effects and techniques to excel. Detailed technical specifications were brought to life through 3D animation, while simultaneously highlighting the challenges faced in the product environment. By utilizing a cross-section of software and animation styles, we impressively depicted the world of wind power for internal Shell employees and partners.

The ability to adapt and employ diverse techniques ensures that each project becomes a compelling visual experience, effectively conveying critical information and engaging the audience in a way that aligns seamlessly with the brand identity and objectives of each esteemed client.

Skills required:

Creative Direction
Collaborating closely with key stakeholders, I engaged in defining a creative approach that incorporated brand-compliant visuals, and maintained and enhanced the brand voice while helping to achieve the learning objectives.

Motion/Graphic Design
By strategically identifying key elements, I accentuate crucial points and incorporate engaging transitional motion design practices and elements to maintain a captivating narrative throughout. For crafting epic video-based learning pieces, I harness the power of multiple external plugins, leverage stock footage, and construct mesmerizing 3D elements. This comprehensive approach infuses the videos with a captivating and immersive quality, helping to ensure the audience understands and retains the information outlined in the learning objectives.

Illustrated Scenario
When budgets don’t have room for actors, lights, and cameras, I find other ways to create learning scenarios. Sometimes this is achieved by illustrating scenes through hand-drawn or vector art. Other times is may be whiteboard-styled videos that draw in key points throughout the script. The creative process must succeed no matter the budget constraints.
